Why do you request support? Will you be putting Health Unmuted behind a paywall?
We request support to accelerate development of high-quality, human-centered information that will help people understand their health better. We understand the need to have information that can be accessed when your hands are busy, but your ears are free.
Thanks to the generous support of our supporters, Health Unmuted is free for anyone to access information about the health topics, therapies and treatments we cover.
How is my contribution used?
Your support is applied directly to creating, sharing and expanding the podcasts, website and outreach of Health Unmuted. Funds are applied directly toward staff salaries, image and music licensing, website and hosting costs, and other costs. Plus, we actively support and promote sharing of health information directly to people and communities in the most need.
Is my support of Health Unmuted tax deductible?
No. Health Unmuted is a division of Mission Based Media Limited and is not a nonprofit organization.
Who manages credit card payments?
All transactions are handled by a software platform, Memberful, which has Stripe as a payment processor. Memberful may contact you with invoices, renewal notices, or expired credit cards alerts, but Health Unmuted handles everything else.
I just wanted to make a one-time donation. How do I turn off auto-renewal?
Recurring billing can be turned off or on at any time. To do this, just log in to your customer profile and follow these steps:
- Log in here
- Toggle to “Subscriptions” on the upper right corner of your customer profile.
- Select “Turn off auto-renewal.”
- Select “Yes, I’m sure.”

How do I reset my password?
To reset your email address, click here and select “Reset password” at the bottom of the pop-up.
Follow the instructions. Then check your email and follow prompts to reset. You will be prompted to sign in again after you’ve reset your password.
